My #1 Recommendation For Everyone Going To Vegas

Posted By admin On Friday June 18, 2010 @ 5:13 AM In Getting around | No Comments

As mentioned yesterday, the majority of the millions who go to Las Vegas Nevada each year stay on the Las Vegas “Strip” (Click on –> [1] http://vegasreservations.com/stripmap for a printable map of the Las Vegas Strip). The Las Vegas Strip is officially defined to be an approximately 4.2 mile stretch of Las Vegas Boulevard between [2] Mandalay Bay and the [3] Sahara Hotel and Casino. Although there are many ways to get around the “Strip” including taxis, buses, trams, trolley and a monorail, the most common means by far for getting around the Strip is walking. So what is my #1 recommendation for everyone going to Las Vegas? It may seem simple but everyone should take (and wear) a good pair of walking shoes. In a city where a simple walk across the street or to a casino down the street can be a mile or more, a good pair of walking shoes should be an obvious addition to everyone’s wardrobe. More on getting around tomorrow.
