The Best Pool in Las Vegas

From late March through September when most pools are open, especially on the Las Vegas Strip (http://vegasreservations.com/stripmap) in hot weather, spending time at any one of the many great hotel pools is a great way to spend your days (soaking up the sun and having fun). But what pool is best? Based on personal experience and time spent searching Google for “top vegas pools”, the answer is pretty much unanimous:

The #1 Las Vegas pool complex is at Mandalay Bay. The pools at Mandalay Bay are a 11-acre playground offering a wave pool, lazy river, four swimming pools, jogging track, and 2,700 tons of real sand. During the summer months it’s also home to beach concerts, which feature bands performing on a stage that extends out into the wave pool. You can choose to watch from the water, or bring a blanket and sit on the sandy beach.

Directly on Mandalay Bay Beach and steps away from the waves, guest may enjoy the three-story, climate-controlled, glass-fronted Beachside Casino. On the first level of the club, beach-goers may dine at the open-air Beach Bar & Grill. The second floor features blackjack, roulette and craps. The third level contains five Sun Villas with views of the entire Mandalay Bay Beach. Ranging in size from 250 to 500 square feet, each villa accommodates up to 16 guests with cabana service and access to a private, third-level pool.

Beach concerts take place April through September on the Mandalay Bay Beach Stage, which rises over the sand and surf wave pool. Concert-goers are invited to bring their blankets, sit on the Beach, or wade in the surf and listen to the music from the cool confines of the 1.6 million gallon wave pool.

Other highly rated pools on the Strip include those at the Flamingo, Tropicana, Mirage, MGM Grand and Caesars Palace.

Why not enjoy a Las Vegas pool this summer?
