Speed – The Ride at the Sahara

Speed – The Ride at the Sahara on the Las Vegas Strip (http://vegasreservations.com/stripmap) is another of Las Vegas’ best thrill rides. Electromagnetic force is used to slingshot the art of the art roller coaster out of it’s launch site and over it’s first hill. Reaching speeds of 35 mph around it’s first curve, it corkscrews before plummeting 25 feet below ground through a mist filled tunnel. With a top speed of 70 mph and an ascension of 224 feet, “Speed” shouldn’t be missed by anyone who enjoys roller coasters. Speed - the Ride at the Sahara details also include:

Hours of operation: Open daily, noon - 10 pm. Hours may vary so call ahead (9702) 737-2111 to verify.

Cost: $10 per per, $17.95 for Speed and Cyber Speedway (one ticket each, $22.95 for a all day pass to Speed and Cyber Speedway.

Payment Options: Cash Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.

Restrictions: Riders must be 54 inches tall
