Getting Around The Strip By Monorail

Want an excellent way to get to or from the MGM Grand on the south Strip to or from the Sahara on the north Strip (in just 15 minutes) or any of the stops along the way? Try the Las Vegas Monorail. You can keep cool in the summer and warm in the winter. It parallels the east side of the Strip (http://vegasreservations.com/stripmap) with stations (stops) at MGM Grand, Ballys/Paris, Flamingo, Harrahs/Imperial Palace and the Sahara, plus it has stops just east of the Strip at the Las Vegas Convention Center and the Las Vegas Hilton. The Monorail runs at speeds of up to 50 mph every few minutes from 7 am to 2 am Monday thru Thursday and 7 am to 3 am Friday thru Sunday. Online fares include $5 for a Single Ride Ticket, $12 for a One-Day Pass and $28 for a Three-Day Pass. Tickets or passes are also available at easy touch-screen ticket vending machines located at every Monorail station.
