Blue Man Group

As posted before, the seven Cirque du Soleil shows are among the best shows in Las Vegas, here’s another: The Blue Man Group at the Venetian on the Las Vegas Strip. Blue Man group is high energy, loud and very entertaining. This show, although available in four other U.S. cities and often on tour, is perfect for Las Vegas as it gets you close to losing your senses with percussion instruments made of virtually anything. As a bonus for those traveling with kids, it’s a very good kid’s show. You can get tickets and/or more information at http://www.blueman.com/tickets/las_vegas or by searching on “Google” or “Bing”.

Hooters Casino Hotel from less than $20 per night

Although it’s not a billion dollar 5 star resort, Hooters Casino Hotel is a decent 3 star hotel that’s within a few hundred yards of the Las Vegas Strip. With a price from less than $20 per night (during some weekdays (subject to change)) or less than $100 for 3 nights with taxes, mandatory resort charges and fees, it’s a great deal. In terms of getting around Las Vegas and the Strip, you can walk or pick up tickets for the bus (The Deuce) at the Showcase Mall next to MGM Grand or the Las Vegas Monorail at the MGM Grand Station. For a inexpensive vacation consider the Hooters Casino Hotel. Other hotels like the Flamingo Las Vegas are available right now from about $40 per night.

My Next Vegas Show – BELIEVE

Of all the shows in Las Vegas, the next one I plan to see is Cirque du Soleil’s CRISS ANGEL BELIEVE. It’s at the Luxor on the Las Vegas Strip. It’s considered by many to be the world’s best live magic show. When you add to that that I am a big fan of Criss’ TV show MINDFREAK, you can see why I want to see it myself. Performances are held Tuesday through Saturday at 7 pm and 9:30 pm with some blackout dates. You can get more information and tickets at http://www.cirquedusoleil.com/en/shows/believe/home.aspx. While your at it check out all the great Las Vegas Cirque du Soleil shows including my favorite: LOVE.

My Favorite Vegas Show – LOVE

Of all the great shows in Las Vegas, Cirque du Soleil’s LOVE, which celebrates the musical legacy of the Beatles, is my favorite. It’s at the Mirage on the Las Vegas Strip. Although it’s impossible to describe the creative blend of action and remastered Beatles music, I most certainly recommend you go and find out for yourself. Performances are held Thursday through Monday at 7 pm and 10:30 pm with some blackout dates. You can get more information and ticket deals at http://www.cirquedusoleil.com/en/shows/love/default.aspx.
