Covering an area the size of New Jersey, Clark County is the nation’s 14th largest county and provides extensive regional services to more than 2 million citizens and 40 million visitors a year. Although there are numerous worthwhile sources of information about the Las Vegas area, one of the best I’ve found that can be useful for both visitors and residents can be found at the Clark County Government web site at http://www.clarkcountynv.gov/. You can find information about services, departments, parks & recreation, outdoor attractions, a shooting park, marriage licenses and more including links to local chambers of commerce and information about shopping venues, golfing and much much more.
