Okay obviously Michael Jackson isn’t really coming to Las Vegas and maybe only a few people will care but from Sept 8th (next Thursday) through Dec 27th, the Michael Jackson Experience will be on display at the Venetian’s Madame Tussauds. The limited-engagement attraction features 3 Michael Jackson wax figures from various stages of the singer’s career and to celebrate its arrival, everyone that shares the same birthday as Jackson is being offered a twofer deal on tickets when they present a valid ID at the box office showing an August 29 birthday. Also, a Michael Jackson themed Cirque du Soleil show will apparently settle at Mandalay Bay sometime in 2013. More later.

There’s a new exhibit opening soon at the Bellagio. The Bellagio Gallery of Fine Art debuts a new exhibit beginning this Saturday, April 16th. "A Sense of Place: Landscapes from Monet to Hockney" is organized in partnership with the Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego and Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, and will showcase landscapes by artists including Claude Monet, Marc Chagall, Helen Frankenthaler, David Hockney, Sylvia Plimack Mangold, Robert Rauschenberg, Christo, Vik Muniz, and others.
