There’s a new service in Las Vegas for those who find that they have driven to a bar or restaurant and have had to much to drink. It’s called BeMyDD (Be My Designated Driver) and it began operating in Las Vegas recently. BeMyDD allows members to call and get a ride to wherever they are staying in their own car for a charge. If your ever staying on or near the Las Vegas Strip and you need laundry done, here’s some places you might want to try (I haven’t actually tried any of these places myself but many of them have positive online reviews). You should “Google” them plus call ahead and to verify hours and prices. Most also offer self-service wash and dry.

NORTH STRIP & DOWNTOWN (Circus Circus, Stratosphere, Palace Station etc.)

• Magic Wash, 1120 S. Decatur Blvd, (702) 259-3007 Open daily 6 am-11 pm (last wash 9:30 p.m.) $1/lb. wash and fold; min. 15 lb.; next day pickup.
• 24 Hours Laundromat, 2547 S. Maryland Pkwy, (702) 893-2424 Open 24/7, charge $10 for up to 5 lbs., and $1.50/lb. after that for wash-and-fold.
• Sahara Laundry, 4601 W. Sahara Ave., (702) 876-0590 Hours: 7:30 am-9 pm daily. Wash-and-fold is $1.25/lb.

• Cora’s Coin Laundry, 1097 E. Tropicana Ave. Hours: 8 am-8 pm daily. Wash-and-fold $.75/lb.

Since most laundries have last-load time requirements, you should get there at least two hours before closing if you plan on doing your own wash and dry.
